ShiftThru text messages

ShiftThru is a free time clock, scheduling and team chat app for businesses and their employees. It is run by Next Infra LLC. We send text messages from 1-833-847-8434 only to people who ask for them.

What we send

Sign-in codes. A one-time code when you sign in to the ShiftThru staff or manager app with your phone number.
Work alerts you turn on. If you choose text alerts in the app's settings: a new or changed shift, an approved or denied time-off request, or a reminder that you forgot to clock out.

We never send marketing or promotional texts.

How you sign up

You sign up yourself, in the ShiftThru app. Your employer cannot sign you up for texts. There are two ways:

On the sign-in screen, you type your mobile number, tick the box that agrees to receive texts, and tap Text me a code.
In Settings → Notifications, you turn on Text alerts and tick the same box.

How often

Message frequency varies. A sign-in code is sent only when you ask for one. Work alerts depend on your schedule, usually a few a week.

Cost

ShiftThru does not charge for texts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. You'll get one last message confirming it. Reply START to sign up again.
Reply HELP for help, or email info@shiftthru.com.

You can also turn text alerts off at any time in Settings → Notifications. After you stop, you can still sign in with your email instead.

Your phone number is private

We use your number only to send the texts described here. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Our Privacy Policy has the details.

Supported carriers

Major US carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
